I wrote this book around the time that Bill Clinton was President. As a young man, I knew abortions must be happening. But it seemed simple to me. Why were all these men getting to decide the fate of America's women? Why can’t they mind their own business? Now, here we are again some 30 years later. A select group of people has decided to give themselves the right to take away women's reproductive rights. So, to make sure I was not imagining this madness (back in 1995), I wrote this book to myself. I was a security guard in a very quiet and isolated post. Writing kept me awake.
